Help provide AIWC with a “forever home”!
The Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) is a non-profit society and registered charity operating since 1993 dedicated to rescuing injured, orphaned, and contaminated wildlife. They are an accredited vet clinic through the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, specifically dedicated to admitting injured and orphaned wildlife. They are located northwest of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and serve the Calgary region and southern Alberta.
Since 1993, they have called their current location home. Since purchasing it in May of 2015, this will now be their “Forever Home”.
With the help of an extremely generous donor, Dr. Khuong of Deerfoot Meadows Dental, they have $200,000 in place, however, they still require approximately $550,000 to purchase the 9.69-acre property in full. The donor has agreed to match funding up to an additional $250,000, and with your help they hope to meet the $750,000 fundraising goal.
This amount is in addition to raising operating funds, which will allow AIWC to continue to help over 1600 animals each year. Each year the demand for their services increases, and with your help they hope to be able to meet this need for years to come at their location NW of Airdrie.
Please donate today. Any donation will help ensure that the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation can continue its work with wildlife, providing the help they need and the help they so richly deserve.
