8217667Community Links (established in 2008 through an amalgamation between Airdrie Family Services and North Rocky View Community Resource Centre) has provided support for over 30 years and:
• Is a non-profit registered charity organization that is guided by its Vision of Strong Individuals Strong Families Strong Communities
• Is one of 46 Parent Link Centres in Alberta
• Is one of 6 Parent Links Centres in Alberta that has a “Taking on Action Bullying Program” coordinated by a Peace Coordinator
• Has two office locations in Airdrie and one in Beiseker
• Offers a variety of services, programs, supports, resources and opportunities for individuals and families of all ages within Airdrie, Beiseker, Crossfield, Irricana and surrounding rural areas of North Rocky View County such as:
o Information on early child development and support for positive, effective parenting strategies,
o Approved and accredited Family Day Home program,
o Assessment to determine strengths and opportunities for support,
o Short and long term individual and group counselling,
o Supports for those affected by family violence,
o Short term respite for those experiencing situational stress,
o Programs to promote empathy and prevention of bullying,
o Educational workshops and presentations for youth, seniors, individuals and families,
o Volunteer opportunities,
o Avenues to basic needs,
o Toy and resource library,
o Connections to other community supports,
• Works in partnership with various community organizations to address expressed social, educational and recreational needs for individuals, children and families such as self esteem groups for youth, family camps and healthy relationship education.
• Is funded by:
o Municipal and Provincial Government – 64%
o United Way- 6.5%
o Corporate- 3%
o Community donations- 1%
o User Fees- 21%
o Service Clubs- 1%
o Fundraising-1.5%
o Contracted Services (Airdrie Housing Ltd)- 2%

*A total of 9105 families were served by Community Links
*A total of 12,123 individuals connected to our various programs with:
-3360 individuals were supported through our Parent Link Centre
-668 individuals were supported through Counselling Services
-103 individuals were supported our Family Violence Prevention Counsellor
-541 seniors were supported by our Senior’s Outreach Program
-7451 individuals were supported through Community Development Services
*31 Providers were connected to the Family Child Care Program
*We provided 10,372 referrals to individuals for additional support
*Community Links was supported by 236 volunteers who contributed 5317 hours
